We are focused on community wellbeing and social justice, advocating to governments, stakeholders and the community about the role psychology can play to help improve lives.

To achieve this, we:

- Share information about the impact of psychology on public policy for the benefit of all sectors of the community
- Are responsive to community needs and advocate for community wellbeing

Recent Developments

Clinical and Counselling Psychologists interested in working at Provincial and District Hospitals are encouraged to register with the Health Services Commission (HSC). They also have to be compliant with the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe. Being a member of the Zimbabwe Psychological Association is an added advantage.

ZPA submissions

We make submissions to government departments, formal inquiries, discussion papers, reviews and reports from various external agencies.
