As the central professional development arm of the ZPA, the Training Division is mandated to foster continuing education and uphold standards of competence among Zimbabwean psychologists. In alignment with global best practices, the Division designs and facilitates workshops, oversees continuing professional development (CPD) programs, and convenes the Association’s annual conference. Our core mission is to ensure psychologists in Zimbabwe remain current with evolving ethical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and critical emerging fields, such as digital mental health and culturally responsive care, thus advancing and strengthening both individual proficiency and the overall quality of mental health care in Zimbabwe.
We design and facilitate comprehensive workshops and training programs that keep psychologists up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, ensuring excellence in practice.
We monitor and support members in meeting their ongoing education requirements, ensuring all practicing psychologists maintain their competence and stay current with best practices.
We convene the Association's flagship annual conference, bringing together leading experts, practitioners, researchers, students, and interns to share knowledge, network, and advance the field of psychology in Zimbabwe and beyond.
We focus on critical emerging areas including digital mental health, culturally responsive care, and evidence-based practices to ensure our members are prepared for the future of psychological practice.
We provide ongoing education on evolving ethical guidelines and professional standards, ensuring all members practice with the highest level of integrity and competence.
We create opportunities for psychologists across Zimbabwe to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other, building a strong professional community dedicated to excellence.
Advance your professional development and stay at the forefront of psychological practice in Zimbabwe
